  1. Some sites I have looked at for ideas, and inspiration, have given me an insight into what I should be looking at including, and features that other sporting sites may also not include.
One of the first sites I looked at was Skysports.com, as this is a main sporting site that has both online and a TV based channel.
This site has a wide sports coverage, but I wanted to see if it went as wide as am proposing, or as in depth. With links and headlines on the main stream sports such as football, rugby, and cricket, it was very clinical and in depth, with a high amount of options, links and content to view.
What I like about this site is its sports feel good factor. It draws the target audience in, and is always up to date and current with the latest news.
It is a very good sports based website that I would like to take some factors from to incorporate into my own site.
These include the layout with the tabs along the top, with a good dropdown page with links within the sport, video and picture content is high and relevant, and the site overall has a high amount of content to view, but all structured well to make the site accessible.
